LadyHacks 2016

During the weekend of April 15 -16 of 2016, I attended LadyHacks once again. This time the women’s only hackathon was held in Northern Liberties. This was a great experience as I learned about tech by helping to develop an app. I also was able to do some networking as well. It is always a blast and I hope I always have the opportunity to go.

During the event, I joined a team which was developing an app called Minerva Priorities. Minerva Priorities took its name from Harry Potter and it wants to help someone organize their tasks. Ideally, a person who would be overwhelmed would go on their phone and pull up the app. Then the user would be able to sort their to-do list into to “must do”, “want to do” and “it can wait”

I put my writing skills to use and was responsible for the Wiki area of the Github:
